Membership:
Any university graduate, or a graduate of an equivalent institution, who is interested in the fulfillment of the purposes of the Association, may apply for memberhip.  

The purposes of the World Association for Medical Law are:

• To encourage the study of problems concerning Medical Law, Medical Ethics and Legal Medicine and discussing  their possible solution in ways that are beneficial to humanity;
  
• To promote the study of the consequences of new developments in medicine and related sciences; and
  
• To address any matters that involve issues of Health Law.

Applying for Membership

A person interested in becoming a member shall:
1.  fill the application data and apply for membership
2. Pay the yearly fee of 100$
3. After the payment has been accepted, The Credentialing Committee will discuss the application.
4. Upon application approval, an official message will be sent to the applicant.
 As a WAML member, you shall receive a free yearly subscription to the the International Journal of Medicine and Law and also will be entitled to substantial discount in participation fees to WAML's activities.  Members-Only sections on our website will also be available for you.
5. Should the application be denied, a handling fee will be charged, and the applicant will be refunded 55$ . 

Associations' Affiliation to WAML

National or regional associations, and other associations and centers active in the field of Medical Law, Medical Ethics and Legal Medicine may be affiliated to the Association by decision of the Board of Governors.
Applications for the affiliation shall be addressed to the Secretary General, along with the payment of membership dues. 
The application would be then analyzed by the Credentialing Committee. 
Once the membership is approved, an official message will be sent to the organization. 

The President of Council of Presidents would contact the national or regional organization.
